Starting out as a bricklayer apprentice straight out of high school, I then turned to carpentry approximately 2 years later.
 
From there I carried out my carpentry joinery apprenticeship for 4 years, followed by a Building Foreman's Clerk of Works for 3 years. This allowed me to obtain my Builders Licence in NSW and from there I gained my QLD Licence. I have held both licences for over 25 years.

I have carried out a number of different jobs within the building industry ranging from Architect Design homes and renovations to domestic, commercial and industrial buildings.
 
Over the past 18 years I have been carrying out Pre Purchase Building Inspections ranging from new dwellings to properties exceeding 100 years in age. In this time I have encountered a number of different and unusual problems with dwellings/buildings I have inspected. Hence I have gathered a wealth of knowledge which can only come with experience and years in the industry
